The SparkFun SSOP to DIP Adapter – 16-Pin is a compact printed circuit board designed to convert SSOP packages into a DIP footprint. This adapter is ideal for modifying and upgrading devices that utilize 14- and 16-pin DIP ICs when the upgraded IC is available only in an SSOP format. It also facilitates prototyping by making SSOP packages compatible with solderless breadboards. This version includes two boards that can be easily separated along v-scored lines.
