The AndyMark EVO Shifter Short Hex Shaft, StageA 3 – 05.45:1 Ratio 1.14:1, StageB 3 – 06.86:1 Ratio 1.14:1 represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox is designed with an improved 4-tooth dog shifting method, allowing for seamless transitions between speeds. It accommodates motor inputs from two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not installed.

Significant improvements have been made over previous models, including a robust 1/8″ diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear made from AMPCO® 18 Bronze, which offers enhanced strength and lubricity. The gearbox features a super-strong shift block assembly with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing. The input stage utilizes 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, providing a high 85:15 first stage reduction. Users have the flexibility to independently select high and low ratios, and the gearbox supports various encoder options.

The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, utilizing a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder for efficient shifting even under dynamic conditions. The gearbox is designed with aggressive weight reduction features and is compatible with existing mounting plate holes for easy installation on an AM14U family chassis or a 2″x1″ box tube frame. The gearbox’s design allows for easy disassembly and assembly without concern for gear orientation, thanks to the uniform features on both sides of the cluster gears.

Note: Ensure proper greasing and break-in procedures are followed for optimal performance and longevity of the gearbox.
