The Waveshare Industrial IoT Mini-Computer Based on CM4 (not Included), PoE, 5G/4G, Metal Case, Cooling Fan (EU) is a sophisticated device designed for industrial applications, leveraging the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. This mini-computer is housed in a robust metal case, ensuring durability and protection in various environments. It features a high-speed 5000rpm cooling fan, which, combined with an airflow vent, provides efficient heat dissipation to maintain optimal performance.
The device is equipped with a Waveshare CM4 Industrial IoT Board, which facilitates the construction of a custom Raspberry Pi CM4 mini PC. It supports a wide range of connectivity options, including Gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, and an M.2 B Key slot for 5G/4G modules, enhancing its networking capabilities. Additionally, it includes a SIM card slot compatible with standard SIM cards for versatile communication options across 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G networks.
The mini-computer offers extensive peripheral connectivity with dual USB 2.0 ports, dual HDMI ports supporting 4K output, and dual MIPI DSI and CSI-2 ports for display and camera integration. It also features isolated RS485 and RS232 connectors, PCIe Gen 2 x1, I2C, ADC, and GPIO, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. The real-time clock with a battery socket ensures accurate timekeeping and the ability to wake the Compute Module 4.
Designed with practicality in mind, the device includes wall mount support for easy installation in various settings. It is ideal for applications such as binocular vision and PoE-powered Raspberry Pi projects, among other industrial contexts.
