The tool holder is crafted from case-hardened steel and finished with a black oxide coating, ensuring durability and resistance to wear. The 3/8″ square shank fits securely in a 3/8″ insert tool post, and the 5° offset angle of the tip facilitates precise cutting operations, such as turning an outer diameter up to a shoulder and finishing the shoulder with ease.
