The Pololu 9V Step-up/Step-Down Voltage Regulator S8V9F9 is an efficient switching regulator designed to convert varying input voltages into a stable 9V output. It accommodates input voltages ranging from 1.4 V to 16 V, making it ideal for battery-powered applications where the battery voltage may fluctuate.
This regulator features under-voltage lockout, over-current protection, and a thermal shutdown to prevent overheating. Additionally, a soft-start feature limits inrush current and gradually increases the output voltage during startup, ensuring reliable performance.
