The Pololu A5984 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier, Fixed 500mA@5V / 330mA@3.3V is a sophisticated microstepping driver for bipolar stepper motors. It offers eight microstep resolutions, enhancing precision and control. The driver incorporates an adaptive decay algorithm to optimize motor current waveforms, ensuring efficient performance.
This carrier board features over-current and over-temperature protection, safeguarding the device during operation. It is designed to deliver phase currents up to 500 mA at 5 V or 330 mA at 3.3 V without additional cooling measures. The module is compatible with various stepper motors, supporting a wide voltage range.
Note: Connecting or disconnecting a stepper motor while the driver is powered can destroy the driver.
