Description
Hot Racing optional upgrade heavy duty splined star drive axle kit for 1/10th scale ECX 2WD electric vehicles, including the Amp, Circuit Stadium Truck, Ruckus Monster Truck, and Torment SCT. These axles will NOT work with the Boost Buggy.
FEATURES:
– Heavy duty CNC machined #45 hardened carbon steel construction
– Replaces factory plastic rear drive axles
– Blue anodized aluminum pin capture rings with rubber o-rings to prevent movement
– Design eliminated CV pin setscrew
– Blue anodized aluminum wheel hub hexes
– Aluminum bearing crush sleeves
– Steel is black finished
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
– Two (2) rear splined CVD shaft assemblies
– Two (2) blue aluminum wheel hub hexes
– Four (4) setscrews
– Two (2) aluminum crush sleeves
REQUIREMENTS:
– Installation of aluminum crush spacer between the two bearing inside the rear hub
– Removable thread lock (e. g. blue Loctite) on screws threading into metal
– Light grease for CV joints and shaft slider splines help maintain their longevity
SPECIFICATIONS:
– Approximate overall collapsed length: 108mm (4.3 inch)
– Approximate overall extended length: 138mm (5.4 inch)
– CV pin: 2.5mm diameter, 11.45mm long
– CV coupler: 4.5mm diameter, 7.3mm long
– CV ball: 8.9mm diameter
COMMENTS:
– NOT compatible with the ECX Boost Buggy
– Replacement parts include: RECT288XU (outdrive drive cups), RECT288XA (outer stub axle), RECT288CX (CV rebuild)
– Optional 12mm steel hexes to replace aluminum hexes: RECT288 (using the aluminum spacer between the two hub bearings is required)
